Job Description |
|
Job Purpose:
The primary focus of the role will be to achieve and exceed allocated sales target, by ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Job Accountabilities Linked To Objectives :
• Achieve and maintain the Company prescribed sales standards for his/her area of operation, which improves and maintains company and brand image and prestige.
• Collaborate with sales and operations in development of customer project strategies. Collaborates with plant, sales, customers and vendors in preparation of quotes and launch of new customer programs.
• Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed terms. Constructs detailed engineering quotes and provides technical support to the RFQ/RFI process.
• In coordination with the Sales Manager; manage and develop major key accounts within the region.
• Respond to and follow up sales enquiries by web site, post, telephone, and personal visits. Search for new clients who might benefit from company products and services, maximize customer potential in designated regions.
• Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods and liaison with internal order-processing staff to optimize quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction from pre to post phases of services.
• Carry out, monitor and report on market, competitor activities and customer surveys and provide relevant reports and information to the Management.
• Constantly improve and update knowledge, especially about product range, features, general extrusions industry, technical developments, market trends, selling techniques and customer handling skills which enhance his performance considerably.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education by making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product meets client needs. Decision making Authority:
Works in coordination with the Sales Manager/ Territory Manager.
