JOB TITLE: Asst R&D Associate (Water Analysis) JOB LOCATION: Mumbai JOB DESCRIPTION: Brand Building Administrator • Handle laboratory independently involving validation, planning of experiments, making test protocols, SOPs etc
• Preparing specifications of new materials, like carbons, biocides, glues, binders and any other new RMs developed for the water purification
• Explore and develop new biocides for water purification technologies to fit in current and future coming devices
• Thorough knowledge in chemistry to understand water chemistry to resolve any consumer related water quality issues and also very good in application of chemistry knowledge to support the design team.
• Skill of developing new vendors for different raw materials through good communication and technical knowledge, able to visualise the requirement of material to meet the performance of device
• Implementation of new material in the manufacturing locations smoothly which needs good knowledge of 1 ) processing 2) physical and chemical properties of chemicals 3) safety etc
• Very good knowledge / experience in analytical chemistry to understand the EPA / ASTM methods both physical and chemical.
• Ability to develop 3P laboratories for conducting various studies involved full understanding of various EPA / NSF protocols, knowledge of testing methods etc
• Liase with microbiology team and design team to seek SEAC clearance
• Preparation of specifications and put in inter-spec
• Updated on chemical purification technology and continuously update the knowledge in chemistry fields by e scouting, reading books and discussing within the team
