Job Description
Accounts & Finance ? General FI Defining Organizational Elements like Company Code Business Area Chart of Accounts Account Groups, Fiscal Year Monthly review of accounts.
? Creating and Maintaining of Master Records GL Accounts, Customer/Vendors, Bank Accounts
? Document control, Structure and Posting control
? Configuration of Interest Calculation.
? Transaction Posting Defining Tolerance Groups.
? Controlling Defining Organizational Elements in Controlling.
? Scrutiny of General Ledgers and Sub Ledgers.
? Solving the problems of routine accounting at subordinate level.
? Review the monthly reconciliation of statutory accounts and payments.
? Overall supervision of day-to-day accounting activity.
? Preparing final accounts based on requirements of Law.
? Review of monthly reconciliation with branches & subsidiaries.
MIS Report ? Preparing monthly Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet in MIS format.
Monitoring of monthly provisions done with respect to last months provisions.
? Monitoring monthly MIS on financial performance along with variance analysis
? Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the plants’ records, and strict compliance to all company policies, procedures and controls
Budgeting ? Co-ordinate and prepare annual budgets, including operating and capital expenditure budgets.
? Collate all relevant information to produce end of year statutory accounts for the company.
? Ensure that end of year statutory accounts report is finalised by specified date and presented to Seniors for review.
Asset Management ? Ensure all plant assets are monitored and accurately accounted for.
? Ensure the fixed assets register is managed and maintained with strict adherence to “fixed assets register procedure.”
? Monitor and track equipment register for consentience with equipment register procedure.
? Monitor and track plant register for consentience with plant list system.
People Management ? Make self available as coach / mentor in assisting direct reports to develop in their positions. Ensure that relevant information is communicated to direct reports enabling them to effectively carry out their functions.
? Delegate tasks to direct reports in line with skill, knowledge and ability and where necessary identify skill gaps and training requirements.
? Ensure all reasonable steps are taken in order to achieve workplace harmony within the organization at all times.
