Role purpose
This section describes the overall purpose of the role, why it exists and how it adds value to the business. It is a summary list of up to six statements for key result areas where the role holder will have decision making responsibility. • Ensure execution of the product strategy and tactics to meet the business and financial objectives of the company.
• Oversee branding strategy for product portfolio, including product brands and trait and technology brands.
• Actively manage product lifecycle.
• Ensure pricing positioning is value maximizing and establish pricing corridors for the responsible brands. Territorial Business accountabilities
• Actively manage product lifecycle.
• Balance revenue maximization through price/ volume tradeoff management.
• Ensure effective positioning of the products responsible for.
• Coordinate product advancements with Product Development.
• Set campaign objectives and closely work with campaign managers on implementation.
• Provide input into development of the crop plan.
• Work with pricing operations manager to ensure effective pricing strategies.
• Build business case for new product ideas.
• Actively manage interfaces between Research, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Brand Marketing and Sales.
Transition accountabilities
• Support development of and participate in the forums and networks required to drive a holistic crop view
• Rapidly build Integrated Solutions capabilities within product responsibility in the territory
