Overall Purpose of position • To manage, end-to-end, all HR Processes including recruitment and selection, performance management, training and development, statutory compliances etc.
• To liaise with employees on a continuous basis, thereby providing the management with critical information on employee engagement and organization climate.
• To conceptualize and plan core people functions in accordance with the overall business direction and ensure effective people management. This includes all facets ranging from Talent Acquisition to Talent Development and Retention.
Roles and responsibilities for the position • To execute HR strategy in sync with the business strategy
• To ensure effective implementation of manpower planning process
• To develop and ensure implementation of the most cost and time effective recruitment strategies
• To carry out an effective induction program for all new joinees, and hand-hold them for the first 6 months in the organization
• To ensure that HR systems and processes are implemented and followed for all key processes and are supported by strong data base mechanism
• To help create an employee friendly environment. These include but are not limited to employee relations, sexual harassment and employee complaints redressal within specified time
• To coordinate with all business units and other support functions like Accounts, Operations, etc. to ensure smooth process flow
• To resolve any critical issues which arise at the workplace like policy issues, employee health and safety, etc.
