Job Description
Employee Relations Strategy Implementation To provide input into the HR strategy and to formulate the annual Employee Relations plan for their entity in line with business requirements to support the needs of the business and to ensure consistency in HR practices and high HR performance standards. Assist in formulate the annual Employee Relations plan/agenda and put forward necessary budget and resource requirements. Employee Relations Management To implement and coordinate HR policies and programs of employee relations and to provide consistent advice and guidance on a range of employee relations issues including performance management for positive employee relations development. Assist to design and implement effective grievance and alternative dispute resolution management processes. Assist to develop and implement company policies in line with legislation changes and best practice. Assist to manage labour law related queries and matters, including contract negotiation and administration, grievance investigation and resolution, union liaison and management guidance.
Recruitment & selection management & deployment Manage and evaluate local recruitment processes, programmes and policies, in order to consistently and efficiently attract and select the right people. Implement recruitment processes and tools Ensure the vacancy database is kept up-to-date to promote cross-border and cross-functional recruitment Research establish and maintain relationships with those agencies & consultants who are most likely to satisfy your recruitment needs Select & manage the performance of external suppliers to ensure qualitative services are provided at an optimal cost (formulate selection criteria for external providers, manage the contracts and monitor performance of external suppliers based on qualitative and quantitative measurements) Ensures a process is in place to promote internal vacancies Regularly evaluate the status of and the effectiveness of the annual recruitment plan, recruitment programmes, processes and policies at an individual, team and organisational level. Build and maintain positive relationships with all management and provide advice when appropriate
People management (in relation to own team) To lead, motivate and empower the staff through effective & open communication, excellent leadership, regular performance feedback and teambuilding in order to maximize customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and team productivity. Networking and project work Develop an internal and external cross-functional network to assist with the implementation of Employee Relations programs as well as maintaining a current understanding of HR trends and best practices.
