Looking for Sr. Network Engineer for level 5 company, Chennai Location. Responsibilities- Professionally represent Real Time Operations in all day to day operations. Proactively monitor customer networks to identify fault occurrences. Acknowledge, check, and respond to customer fault reports. Perform timely and accurate diagnostics, ensuring fault clearance wherever possible. Ensure accurate ticket detail entry and updates for all fault reports. Ensure relevant and accurate information available to assist in fault diagnosis and clear. Monitor fault tickets, prioritise, and track progress as appropriate. Ensure technical and managerial escalation completed to defined time-scales. Test and liaise with customers and other internal or external agencies and third parties. Ensure overall adherence to quality procedures and working processes. Ensure awareness of SLA agreements, and perform all ticket actions in time-scales to support SLA success. Essential 3 – 5 years network operations experience in IP & Data technologies Proven working experience within a Network Operations Centre environment. Excellent understanding of WAN technology; these include IP, MPLS, ATM, FR Good understanding on transmission network & network elements. Excellent understanding on working with Cisco Routers & Switches Previous experience in resolving access transport related issues (PE-CE connectivity) Previous experience in resolving customer issues in IP/MPLS network Excellent understanding of Global Telecoms infrastructure including 24 x7 x 365 environment. Experience in working with multiple third party network providers and equipment vendors. Able to communicate at appropriate levels of target audience on both Technical & non-Technical (including process activities). Proven ability to adapt to international working environment especially with UK & Europe Excellent written / Verbal communication skills Desirable Previous experience in working with UK network operators Good understanding of Service parameters in IP & Data like QoS, packet drops, jitter, latency etc CCNA or CCNP qualified Understanding of ITIL framework Understanding of Remedy, Cramer, BT tools (Woosh, Eco repair etc) Interested candidates are requested to forward there updated profile to ebibeni@iquest-consultants.com.
