Duties & Responsibilities1.Accountable for daily client servicing as primary point of contact for client programs ensuring constant interaction with client and exchange of ideas as well as constantly appraisal of progress in plan.2.To have an in-depth knowledge about the client’s industry, competition and client’s business thereby providing strategic insights and advising the client on a day-to-day basis - proactively or reactively3.Ensures 100% implementation and satisfaction of client activities and can handle projects and assignments independently from start to finish4.Provides issues-oriented and specialty writing services - bylined articles, ghostwriting for senior management in response to media queries, FAQs, press releases , newsletters etc.5.Develops and manages strategic media relationships as a two way communication enabler, thereby building enable absolute credibility for the client as a media specialist consultancy and building a long-term relationship with media6.Drives utilization of clients key methodologies and products and communicates the relevance and importance of every product/system of the client.7.Participates in new business development.8.Supervises Account Executives and is a team leader who encourages self starters, thereby ensuring their growth as Account Executives. To be able to critique work and ensure quality at all times while providing guidance and direction.9.To keep office work culture healthy, while coordinating, supporting and inspiring own team to work under pressure and against deadlines, and stay motivated.

Job Description
Job Purpose The Account Manager is responsible for strategic planning and the overall execution of PR campaigns, ensuring the team’s adherence to the clients systems and processes and providing guidance to Sr. AEs and AEs. This will enable him / her to drive accounts independently and be recognized as a true consultant. Key Result Areas Internal Process
Ensure all systems and processes are followed
Ensure quality in the media monitoring cycle and reporting cycle Interview Process
Reviewing pitch mails
Interacting with senior media (sub editor and editor level)
Development of messages
Briefing Documents Event Coordination
Overall responsibility for event planning and execution Media Knowledge & Relations
Knowledge of media across tier 1 cities and regional media relevant to client
Media Yatra – At least 2 Media Yatras a year
Ability to create content for effective Bylines, Pitches etc.
Enjoys two way communication channel at senior reporter/editor level
